Welcome to Lodicoin (“Lodicoin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of lodicoin.net, our DApp, APIs, smart contract interfaces, leaderboards, and any related products or services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, connecting a wallet, or interacting with Lodicoin smart contracts, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You must comply with all applicable laws in your region when using Lodicoin.

2. Nature of the Platform

Lodicoin is a community-driven, blockchain-based platform that provides gamified experiences such as leaderboards, quests, and reward mechanisms using on-chain data. We are a software provider and do not custody, control, or guarantee any digital assets.

Interactions on public blockchains are permanent and irreversible. You are solely responsible for your wallet, private keys, and any actions initiated through them.

3. Wallet Connection & Authentication

To access certain features, you may need to connect a compatible crypto wallet. When you do, Lodicoin verifies ownership via cryptographic signatures but never requests or stores your private keys. You may disconnect your wallet at any time.

4. Tokens and Rewards

• Any mention of “$LODI,” “points,” “rewards,” or similar assets does not represent legal tender or securities.
• Token balances, airdrops, or rewards may fluctuate or change without prior notice.
• Participation in reward or quest systems is voluntary and may be subject to additional terms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the Services for illegal, deceptive, or fraudulent activity
• Attempting to hack, exploit, or disrupt the network or smart contracts
• Automating usage (bots, scripts) without authorization
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting affiliation
• Uploading harmful code, spam, or malicious content

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Lodicoin owns all intellectual property rights in the website, branding, logos, and original content. You retain rights to content you contribute but grant Lodicoin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute it as part of the Services.

7. Open-Source Components

Some parts of the Lodicoin codebase or SDK may be released under open-source licenses. Those components are governed by their respective licenses, which override these Terms to the extent of any conflict.

8. No Financial or Investment Advice

Lodicoin provides software and community tools only. Nothing on the Services constitutes investment, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own research and decisions before interacting with any blockchain assets.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties — express or implied — about functionality, accuracy, or availability. Blockchain networks may experience downtime, forks, or losses that are outside Lodicoin’s control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lodicoin, its contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of funds, tokens, or data arising from use or inability to use the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lodicoin and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time without notice. We are not liable for any resulting unavailability or loss.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for other reasons such as maintenance, security, or legal compliance. You may also stop using Lodicoin at any time by disconnecting your wallet.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, unless otherwise required by law. Any disputes will be resolved in a competent court in that jurisdiction.

15. Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” indicates the latest version. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
